Research, public programmes and publications

I am an artist and researcher working on participation and credit in the age of AI: who gets to take part, and who gets the credit.

An authored cultural practice about participation, visibility, interpretation and public life amid changing technologies.

An authored practice for public life.

Bobbinet is Andrew Ahachinsky’s cultural research and public-programme practice. It develops publications, installations, conversations and institutional collaborations about participation, visibility, interpretation and public life amid changing technologies.

Andrew’s work uses editorial objects, visual research and carefully hosted encounters to ask how a visitor becomes a participant, contributor or steward—and what a public setting makes legible, answerable and worth carrying forward.

With institutions, Bobbinet may contribute a bounded research or design-partner project where a live public question has an owner, timing and resources. It does not provide software integration, generic AI training or off-the-shelf consulting.

Start a conversation about a live public question.

  1. 01Public experience

Where do people enter, navigate, participate or fall away in a live programme, installation or service?

  2. 02Accountability

How should authorship, uncertainty, disclosure or human responsibility be made visible as tools change?

  3. 03Decision clarity

Is there one bounded decision a host can own, resource and improve with evidence?

An editorial object for the moment a person decides to cross a threshold and become visible in another way.

Selected for PRINT 2026, Design Week Mexico.

Pasaporte de Forma records how participation begins: what changes, what appears, what is practised, where the threshold sits, and what remains.

Pasaporte de Forma

A visitor leaves a mark.
The room keeps it.

60 individual field passports become a changing public archive.

The field note will remain incomplete until it returns from the field.

PRINT 2026 runs until 31 October. One short field note will follow: what was observed, what remains uncertain, and where the first map needs correcting.
